Latina/Latino Studies Speaker Series: Estar de Moda: Latina Immigrant Girl's and Women's Aesthetics

Join Dr. Michelle Parra and her research team for Estar De Moda: Latina Immigrant Girl's and Women's Aesthetics, an art exhibit that celebrates the fashion aesthetics of low-income Latina immigrant girls and women. There will be various images displayed throughout the room and the research team will give a presentation starting at 4:30 p.m. to provide the audience with some background information on the art. The art exhibit will be on Monday, May 4 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Student Center’s U Club.
