Designer and educator Omari Souza, assistant professor at the University of North Texas, will share insights from his books An Anthology of Blackness: The State of Black Design and Design Against Racism: Creating Work That Transforms Communities. A first-generation American of Jamaican descent raised in the Bronx, Souza has professional experience with VIBE magazine, CBS Radio, and Case Western Reserve University. His research explores how visual narratives influence culture, shaping how we see ourselves and others.
