Japan's Agency of Cultural Affairs presents a lecture and demonstration with celebrated actor Kyozo Nakamura, of the world-renowned Shochiku Company of Japan. The program includes two Kabuki dance classics in full costumes, makeup and wigs: "Fuji Musume (Wisteria Maiden)" and "Shakkyo (Lion Dance)," contrasting the lyric style of the onnagata (actor specializing in female roles) with that of the dynamic, acrobatic style represented in the heroic Lion Dance.
