On Saturday, April 20th, the Asian American Studies Department will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special gala dinner! The evening will bring together founding faculty and participants from the historic 1968 San Francisco State strike, along with community supporters from around the nation. Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and SF State alumnus, Jose Antonio Vargas will be the keynote speaker.
