The Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble performs a wide variety of themes and styles from Latin America and the U.S. that represent music as a form of cultural resistance, dignity and solidarity. Featuring the music of Duke Ellington, Eliseo Grenet, Little Joe y La Familia, Sergio Mendes, Silvio Rodriguez, John Santos, Mercedes Sosa and Atahualpa Yupanqui. Directed by John Calloway.
