Concert: From the Village to the Concert Hall: Inspirations from Greek Folk Music

The Greek Chamber Music Project performs a brand-new program rooted in the melodies and dance rhythms of Greece's folk music tradition. Performers include the Amaranth Quartet and flutist Ellie Falaris Ganelin, pianist Elektra Schmidt and bassist Schuyler Karr. Features the U.S. premiere of Petros Sakelliou's Ironic Dance Suite and works by Theodorakis, Ermilios and Psathas.
