Sarah Iles Johnston, the president of the American Society for the Study of Religion and Arts and Humanities Distinguished Professor of Religion at The Ohio State University, delivers the 12th annual Raoul Bertrand Lecture in Classics. Her many books include "Restless Dead: Encounters between the Living and the Dead in Ancient Greece," "Ancient Greek Divination" and, with Fritz Graf, "Ritual Texts for the Afterlife: Orpheus and the Bacchic Gold Tablets."
