Orlando White and Jennifer Elise Foerster read from their poetry, in this special event presented as part of the Fine Arts Gallery exhibition "When I Remember I See Red. " White is originally from Tolikan, Arizona. He is Dine (Navajo) of the Naaneesht'ezhi Tabaahi (Zuni Water's Edge Clan) and born for the Naakai Dine'e (Mexican Clan). He is the author of two poetry collections: "Bone Light" (Red Hen Press, 2009), and "Letters" (Nightboat Books, 2015). Foerster was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University from 2008 to 2010. Her first book of poems, "Leaving Tulsa," was published by University of Arizona Press in 2013, and was a long-list finalist for the 2014 PEN Open Book Award.
