Critical examination of political concepts, processes and constructions of power that center race and ethnicity within a comparative analysis of American ideals, institutions and laws. Includes a study of constitutional issues and state and local governmental processes.

  • Per unit fee: $415 (1-unit course fee: $415, 3 units course fee: $1,245, and 4 units course fee: $1660)
  • If you cannot enroll in the course between October 31 and December 23, please call (415) 405-7700 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for assistance or complete the online registration form (https://cel.sfsu.edu/register/easy-form). Please be aware that our offices will be closed from December 24 to January 1. From January 2 to January 5, you will need a permission number to enroll in classes.
