CINE 340 [01] - Critical Studies

Description
Prerequisites: Restricted to upper-division Cinema majors and minors; CINE 200*, CINE 202*, CINE 204*, CINE 211*, and CINE 212* or equivalents with grades of C or better; or consent of the instructor. Concurrent enrollment in CINE 341*. Explores essential critical approaches for analyzing cinema. A grade of C or better required for Cinema major and minor. Intermediate-level course. (Plus-minus letter grade only)
Class Notes
- * See University Bulletin or department for concurrent enrollment requirements and/or prerequisites.
- * CINE 340 and CINE 341 must be taken concurrently. Students who register for only one of these two courses are not guaranteed seats in the other course once classes begin; thus, to fulfill this particular requirement for the Cinema major, students must register for both CINE 340 and CINE 341.
- * In-Person Classes -- Class meets in-person at scheduled days/times.
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be upper-division Cinema majors or minors, and have completed CINE 200, CINE 202, CINE 204, CINE 211, and CINE 212, each with a grade of C or better. Must concurrently enroll in CINE 341.
