Prerequisites: GE Areas A1*, A2*, A3*, and B4* all with grades of C- or better or permission of the instructor. Literary works with Asian American themes written for youth (preschool to middle school). How Asian Americans are depicted from the 19th century to the present. [CSL may be available]

Class Notes

  • * Hybrid (Combination of in-person and online asynchronous) Classes -- Class meets regularly in-person at scheduled days/times and also has online sessions with no set day/time.

Enrollment Requirements

  • Must have completed GE Areas 1A/A2, 1B/A3, 1C/A1, and 2/B4, all with grades of C- or better, to enroll in this course.
