Prerequisites: GE Areas A1*, A2*, A3*, and B4* all with grades of C- or better or permission of the instructor. Reading of Harlem Renaissance writers including Countee Cullen, Nella Larsen, Zora Neale Hurston, and Langston Hughes. Hone reading and analytical writing skills through essays, class discussions, and structured group work.
