Prerequisite: Restricted to upper-division Design majors and minors. Comprehensive studies in design software process and production, inclusive of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Extra fee required. [Formerly DAI 322]

Class Notes

  • * The instructor of this course requires that student video in Zoom be turned on to support an engaged learning experience when meeting online. A video-sharing exemption may be requested of the faculty. If reasonable accommodations based on disability are needed the student should meet with DPRC.
  • * $25 instructional materials fee.
  • For Summer 2023, non-des majors who are otherwise qualified will be added. For more information, contact the Design office at design@sfsu.edu.
  • * Online Bichronous (Combination of online synchronous and online asynchronous) Classes -- Class meets entirely online. Some class meetings are at scheduled days/times and some sessions do not have a set/day time.

Enrollment Requirements

  • Must be upper-division Design majors or minors and have completed DES 222 with a grade of C or better to enroll in this course.
