Description

Introduction to Computer-Aided Drafting and Modeling using industry-standard software and techniques. Survey of the field's history and discussions of contemporary trends. Methods of computer modeling from original ideas or references, basic rendering and animation, and presentation of work in professional formats. 3D printing component. Suitable for non-majors. (Plus-minus letter grade only)

  • * Online Synchronous Classes -- Class meets entirely online at scheduled days/times.
  • * The instructor of this course requires that student video in Zoom be turned on to support an engaged learning experience when meeting online. A video-sharing exemption may be requested of the faculty. If reasonable accommodations based on disability are needed the student should meet with DPRC.
  • * DES 200 and DES 222 are required Foundation courses for BSID_PDD majors. DES 200, DES 222 and DES 228 are required Foundation courses for BSVCD majors.
