Recital: Piano students

Piano students of Victoria Neve Victoria Neve perform on SF State's Clementi fortepiano. Fifty years ago, Serena de Bellis acquired a fortepiano (manufactured in London by Musio Clementi and Company, circa 1808 - 1809) for the Frank V. de Bellis Collection that still supports the University's music curriculum. The harpsichord-shaped frame constructed of oak and mahogany offers a gentle sound -- transparent and capable of subtle nuance familiar to the great composers of the era.
