Julio Lemos discusses the development of Brazilian music and the top 20th-century composers and performers, covering Brazilian music roots (the mix of European and African music), choro and maxixe, samba and its variations, bossa nova, samba-jazz and contemporary Brazilian music. Lemos studied with renowned musicians such as Guinga, Marcos Tardelli, Marco Pereira, Alencar 7 Cordas, Rogrrio Caetano, Nelson Faria, Henrique Pinto and Paulo Belinatti. He holds degrees in classical guitar from Federal University of Gois, guided by Werner Aguiar.
