H. Alan Shapiro, the W.H. Collins Vickers Professor of Archaeology Emeritus at Johns Hopkins University, presents the 14th annual Raoul Bertrand Lecture in Classics. His lecture is titled "The Classical Greek Symposium: Wine, Boys and Song." Shapiro is a classical archaeologist with a particular interest in Greek art, myth and religion in the Archaic and Classical periods.
