Celebrate Langston Hughes' 116th birthday with an evening of original music and poetry, by Hughes and by Bay Area composer, poet and bandleader Lewis Jordan. Featuring Ollen Erich Hunt, bass, and Jimmy Biala, percussion. Jordans recorded engagement with Hughes work stretches back to 1983 and "The Ballad of the Landlord" with the band United Front and their concert recording, "Live in Berlin."
