Center for Research & Education on Gender and Sexuality (CREGS)
This is the third LGBTQ Town Hall discussion that CREGS will be hosting about the state of LGBTQ experiences on the SF State campus. This time, well be focusing the conversation on health and wellness. Its perfect timing, as we have the opening of the Mashouf Wellness Center in the fall of 2017, and we want to talk about how to keep LGBTQ folks safe in spaces exactly like this which are highly binary-gendered spaces and have notoriously difficult inclusion with LGBTQ folks. Featuring a variety of folks from different staff, student, faculty, and leadership positions, the meeting will look at next steps and what we can do to keep raising up safety and inclusion for LGBTQ folks at SF State.
