During a pogrom on the eve of World War I, a group of Jews seek refuge from the Cossacks. 1982. The School of Cinema opens its The Best of Polish Cinema course to the public on Wednesday evenings this fall. The screenings proceed chronologically from the 1950s to present, showcasing the most memorable works of the greatest Polish directors. All films will be shown with English subtitles. Featured as Cinema 401, the course is taught by Professor Steven Kovacs with graduate student Katarzyna Rogawska.
