Tongo Eisen-Martin and Jasmine Gibson read from their poetry. Born in San Francisco, Eisen-Martin is a movement worker, educator and poet who has organized against mass incarceration and extra-judicial killing of African Americans throughout the United States. Gibson is a Philly jawn now living in Brooklyn and a soon-to-be psychotherapist for all your gooey psychotic episodes that match the bipolar flows of capital. She spends her time thinking about sexy things like psychosis, desire and freedom.
