BECA 485 [01] - Women and Media

Description
Prerequisites: GE Areas A1*, A2*, A3*, and B4* all with grades of C- or better or permission of the instructor. Analytic modes, including feminist, psychoanalytic, and economic criticism, to assess both how women are represented in mass media and the status of women employed in mass media. (This course is offered as BECA 485 and WGS 485. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix.)
